Introduction to SGS Nāda Mahotsav

Welcome to the spiritual heart of Carnatic music. Under the divine vision of HH Sri Swamiji, the SGS Nāda Mahotsav has grown into a premiere international assembly of classical artists, gurus, and students.

For five days, the atmosphere resonates with the complex mathematical ragas and deep devotion that define Carnatic music. The festival serves a dual purpose: first, as a platform for legendary musicians to present their offerings, and second, as an educational ecosystem hosting interactive workshops and paper presentations on Swarasthana acoustics and Raga therapy.

Each day features three concert tiers starting with morning student showcases, afternoon research demonstrations, and concluding with grand evening concerts featuring top-tier vocalists, violinists, veena exponents, and mridangam maestros.

Swamiji & The Performing Arts

Music is my religion, music is my language, music is my soul. It is the shortest route to reach the divine consciousness.

— His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji

His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji has pioneered the concept of Nāda Chikitsā (Raga Ragini Music Therapy) for healing and spiritual well-being. For over four decades, Swamiji has composed thousands of classical bhans, designed specialized ragas for clinical healing, and conducted global symphony concerts for meditation.

This festival is directly blessed by Swamiji to foster the next generation of Carnatic vocalists, violinists, veena players, and classical dancers, strengthening the link between sacred sound vibration and inner peace.
